This strengths-based workshop series with our local older adults. Join us to learn how to apply basic nutrition concepts and holistic strategies for good health, navigating the food environment, and greater resilience.

Participant Goals:

Learn how to incorporate nutritious foods and simple meals into their daily lives

Apply personally-relevant strategies that enhance their health and well-being

Build and maintain community and social connection to support their health

Learn simple exercises and identify opportunities for movement that can benefit mobility and stability

The Five Wishes

Join Elizabeth Dreher, MS RDN of Foothills Compassionate Care will explore The Five Wishes, a simple yet powerful tool for end-of-life planning. This class will help you reflect on and communicate your personal, emotional, and spiritual needs in addition to medical preferences ensuring your voice is heard and honored.

Need affordable, seasoned firewood?

Gold Country Senior Services has split conifer for $150/cord. Sales help fund our Senior Firewood Program, which provides free wood to low-income, homebound seniors.
